Behaviour

Pupils are best able to learn in an environment where there is respect and a focus on learning and development. This policy will describes the procedures that staff of the school will use to develop children’s responsible behaviours and attitudes to learning.

‘Inspire Learning, Strengthen Community, Celebrate Achievement’

Rationale

  • Children need to know and understand the boundaries of acceptable behaviour.

Purposes

  • To ensure that all children feel and are safe, secure and happy.
  • To provide the maximum opportunities for learning.
  • To enable pupils to acquire and develop self-discipline and a range of social skills that will prepare them for life.
  • To promote an appreciation of the needs of others and respect for their property.
  • To provide a consistent and structured framework that will support all staff.
  • To fully involve parents in all aspects of their child’s behaviour.

Our Primary School

Our children are fantastic, our staff are brilliant and we have a strong and active community of parents, friends and colleagues who all pull together to give our children the best possible education and experience of school. It is also great to be part of the Cathedral Schools Trust and to work with their South Bristol schools to the benefit of all our pupils.

What a BRILLIANT afternoon of football we had with our Year 4’s. 👍

All 1️⃣6️⃣ of our kids were a credit to #TeamHP - smiles, goals, encouragement and fun throughout!

Both teams undefeated and already looking forward to Week 2 ⚽️

Thanks for the opportunity @AshtonSSP

Some lucky Headley Park children travelled to @RedmaidsHigh today thanks to @RHSchoolScience, to take part in a number of chemistry workshops and activities.

Huge thanks to @BristolChemLabS - we loved it!
