PTFA & Events

Our school are really lucky to have a vibrant PTFA who arrange a programme of fun throughout the year.

The PTFA (parent, teachers and friends association) helps to raise money to enhance the curriculum. We hold two big events every year, the Summer Fayre (which has become a well-supported community event) and the Christmas Market.   These are our two main events but we do organise other smaller events throughout the year; such as quiz nights, bingo, summer picnic, school discos etc.

Our fundraising has helped to pay for improvements in the main playground and in the reception playground, new large mats for KS1 classrooms, cookery equipment and lots of other smaller items that staff has asked for.   One of our biggest contributions is that we pay for school swimming lessons for every child.

We meet once a term to discuss fundraising ideas and to review how we can help support the school in other ways. Keep an eye out for meeting dates and events in the School diary.

We are always on the lookout for new members to joins us.   If you are interested in joining the PTFA please come along to a meeting, any support or time you can give, great or small would be appreciated.

Christmas Fair Success

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the Christmas Fair 2015 such a success! It raised £1000 in a very short space of time and it was a wonderful community event that got us all in the Christmas mood! Here are some photos of the fair:
